I think this is a good learning curve to JP and team about how to "give yourself" performance shares.

JP, sorry to disappoint, but you can't control the macro market!! And I think that comes from experience. It makes me giggle because I'm long in GLN and not too worried about the daily fluctuation of the SP. I'm 100% frustrated at the SP, but I'm in for 4-5 + years so it's okay, I will but more if it drops sub $1.

But seriously JP, back to performance shares... You made 90+% of retail shareholders unhappy about these performance shares when you could have done it so much better.

Look at GL1 for example (disclosure, I own GL1 and it has been a very very good investment in less than two years) and the way they have built the performance shares is so much better. Brings a lot of value to shareholders, while being very achievable for management.

JP and team could have given themselves 500K shares if the resource was between 2.5 and 3.5m T, 500K shares additional between 3.4 and 4.5MT, etc etc. Like seriously, who would have complained if they all got performance shares when it reached 5.8MT MRE. No one would have cared but instead it left everyone with a sour taste in the mouth. Now the SP needs to increase almost 100% before they can have these shares.

Same, instead of the SP, they could have added SP for when a 2KTPA pilot plan has started, then for the 10KTPA, first shipment sold and exported by a certain date, etc.

I think/hope they learnt their lesson but it just made me giggle today when I saw how down the SP has been since these performance shares have been approved.

Just a bad moment to go through SP wise, I would really expect to be back up in no time but it is definitely playing with our patience, hope not too many shareholders abdicated in the last few days!!
