This is awesome news. we are past the most critical part of the merger the court Approval of the Scheme of Arrangement. This is considered day 86 of the ~96 days it takes a typical merger to complete in Australia . Link

The last month delay was likely due to the process invovled when "schemes of arrangement outside Australia are made where a company has operated outside Australia, then, as with a DoCA, a creditors’ scheme will not automatically have extraterritorial effect. Rather, application needs to be made to the relevant courts for the scheme to be recognised and to operate in the other jurisdictions in which the company’s assets and business interests are located."

The courts in chile have been processing the request for approval of the same scheme that Australia courts were processing. Now that this is complete the remaining things are procedural in nature. The merger looks like it is happening in the next week or so!!!
