    They could have started previously and i believe they were very close to starting but the problem was that China had control of pricing.

    Therefore it was very risky.

    Korea has changed the whole equation along with the supply chain problems and the magnet demand from the EV and Wind power sectors.

    China is now in a position that they will most probably use a lot of the rare earths they process going forward as they make more money that way.

    There is a possibility ASM will be processing ARU's product sold into Korea but i don't know enough about that so just guessing.
