Punter, do you remember they did exactly the same thing with the convertible note issue - another off-market maneuver? i realize shareholders' main interest is to want their shares to go up, but these off-market issues can be very value dilutive for shareholders.
I think the Stockbroker is both skillful & manipulative, in devising these share capital manipulations. They make a mockery of share valuations, as they act as a derivative, that is at a discount to WAP. They run different books, the shareholder book, and the private capital book. The problem is control of the company can pass on some off-market issues. The ASX/AISC should not allow these off-market transactions.
