Let’s be honest, ASM have largely not been clear in there communication for more than 12 months.
Half of the disagreements on this forum are because ASM have not been clear and people interpret any updates from ASM in a different way.
Many people on here blaming DW for all the problems we have had and still face but has Rowena been any better? Is IG the problem?
Anyway, the KMP is still progressing, slowly, but sill progressing in the right direction.
Dubbo is stuck in the mud, but nice to see consistent support from the Government.
If this infrastructure was so important, why wasn’t it done a year or two ago? Fair enough, we have waited and with luck or not the Government have paid half, but whats the cost on time? And how long will this work take? And when will it start? Rowena says 2023 to start, 1st half? 2nd half?
The Aim for 2023 is to get the KMP running at 5,200t capacity and metal sales to match.
Dubbo financing, in all honesty, it’s probably 50/50 whether we get this financed in my opinion, the longer it goes on the less chance we have of getting it over the line. ASM have probably talked to all the big firms now but we just can’t get it over the line for whatever reason, my hope is still on Hyundai, but what are they waiting for? The KMP to prove it can run at 5,200t so they can secure ‘ mine to metal ‘ ? MOD - 1 to be approved? ASM to find there part of the Dubbo funds?
