I have a stack of $$$ invested in SDL (it is my largest holding by far) so I am very positive towards this stock long term so don't get the wrong impression of my post or sentiment - I am not down ramping by a long shot.

Unfortunately the powers that be - much bigger than me and all retail shareholders combined have decided that 15/15.5 cents is the accumulation price and so it will stay that way until whomever they are have bought their quota of shares.

It is so frustrating because we can all see that SDL is dotting the i's and crossing the t's and doing all things right and moving forward, it should be trading far higher than 15c but....

I have a feeling that holders (the majority of SDL sh's) are holding and the short termers (very small numbers) are selling and the powerful accumulators are manipulating the price (buying lots and selling little) as much as they can to stay within the 15/15.5c bracket and buying as such the sp is not going anywhere, anytime soon.

It is a funny and hard place to be because if the SP was to drop to 12-13c I would, as many LT holders would be, buying more and accumulating but at 15/15.5c I am not that motivated to do so - I do not know why - it must be a human mentality thing. I know 15/15.5c is cheap LT. Let's not forget it was 80c+ before the GFC will alot less than what it has proven to have today.

The accumulator/s know this and this is why it is and will continue to be 15/15.5c until such a great announcement comes out that even the accumulator/s will not be able to (or want to) prevent the SP from rising firstly into the 20's, 30's, then 40's and upwards - but they know this :-)

Now is a time to take a deep breath and hold, and accumulate below 14c, if it ever goes back there, as we believers have done for the last 2+ years.

I look forward to the day that SDL shines and I can look back and be proud that I stayed strong during these tough times while over the past 2 years other shares have multiplied, if not recovered to where they were before the GFC but SDL has not. I know our time will come and the eventual gain will be worth the wait.

By the way, call me superstitious - but we have a Sundance plant growing in our garden, planted 3 years ago, it was touch and go there for a while but, it has never looked better than it does today. It is absolutely blooming :-)

I will post a photo of it is there is interest!
