HMC colour is unlikely to be true. Dark ore on a light background is always going to result in under/over exposure, as well as reproduction errors when printing the press release. Compare ore colour in the shed compared to ore in the ship's hold - same stuff but looks different colour.
Photos are likely just snaps taken by the manager or superviser on a phone camera and then reproduced into a press release so I don't think you can make any definitive statements about ore colour on that basis.
