This was me two months ago. Tore my meniscus cartilage completely in half - bucket handle tear. I have private health insurance, but still a bit out of pocket and with everything else. I wanted it done asap, so paid the money so my knee was no longer locked at 90 degrees, now I'm on the road to recover - 6 to 12 months... I'm not even 35, not looking forward to when I'm double that and all the other parts of me that start breaking haha
