@coto ... You do realise that they have drilled the pegmatites at the Southern end of the tenements, which are the closest to the RDT ground, over 15km away...

Go 15km along strike from Pilgangoora, or Wodgina, or Mt Holland or Mt Marion and what do you find?? Nothing much is the answer. It is also the very highest probability here as well from the early drilling.

You do know that RDT bought the tenement from Ora Banda especially for the un-assayed pegmatites from prior drilling. The prior owners were looking for gold/copper so didn't bother assaying for lithium. Hole IDDD002 was drilled in 2006, so no-one was interested in lithium back then.
The first hole RDT had assayed was hole IDDD002 with 23m of pegmatite, starting at 252m deep.

I like looking at the evidence of what a company hits, not the hype and promises from management. So what did the new drilling for pegmatites actually find for St George??

The answer is not much, with 5 separate pegmatites drilled and not much thickness to any of them and they were thinner the deeper they drilled except one..

Have a look at the one with multiple intersections MAD211 a couple of minor intercepts above 100m deep, then at 140m 2.4m of pegmatite, then go another 90m deep to 230m for the next minor hit of 1.72m then another 15m of waste then a 2.1m pegmatite, then another 11 metres of waste until the final hit of 1m of pegmatite.

That's a total of 7m of pegmatite spread out over 120 metres downhole. None of it will ever be mineable because of the sheer waste between them all, no matter what the spodumene assays end up being.

Compare to RDT where the FIRST hole they examined of 23m thick pegmatite filled with spodumene.

So let's look at what SGQ actually found.. MAD211 is drilled about 40m to the east of MARC161 but about 200m further North, so it's looking to go underneath MARC161 at depth (which had pegmatite intercepts of 5m and then 2m). With the shallow intercepts included there is a total of 9m of pegmatite spread out over 260m of downhole length, with spodumene, if any, being a subset of that...
The ratio of waste to mineralisation even if all 9m was high quality spodumene (which it wont be) over a distance of 263m means 254m of waste so it will never be mined!!

They need thick intersections of pegmatite to have a chance!! They have drilled 23 holes into known pegmatites, and I assume approached the best prospects first,(that's what everyone else does), yet have only 1 wider than 10m being the first hole with lepidolite!!

The reason the stock fell today was the results were poor..

Mind you they did manage to find more granite drilling for the seismic target, just like all the other times. The seismic is very good at finding granite, perhaps they could become monumental masons with the amount of granite they have discovered.....

How many more 1-3m intersections of pegmatites need to be hit before shareholders get sick of this campaign??

SGQ have had the same weakness for years. They keep drilling SMALL targets, instead of stepping back and finding large targets worth drilling before the drilling begins. It's exactly the same approach to the pegmatites as it's been with the nickel for years. Why bother drilling something 1-2m in thickness?? They should look for and only drill wide pegmatite targets!!
It's really simple, if they can't find decent targets, then drop the tenement and move onto something else instead of wasting millions of shareholders funds on lots of minor hits from huge amounts of drilling. Drilling lots of little useless stuff is what lifestyle companies do, always a sniff, just enough to keep the punters interested.
