Any thoughts as to the viability of Balranald? Its feasibility appears quite opaque and there not much info out there I can find, it has been kicked down the road for many years. With JA winding down to the end of life, the divestment of Sierra Rutile, and with the only remaining mine being Cataby, there's a lot riding on the Eneabba rare earth play, which based on how long Lynas took to get moving may still have a very long road ahead of it. What do you think the share price could do with a booming rare earth refinery? >$10?
The Sept quarterly production shows negative trends, perhaps December will be better. Projects discussion in the quarterly report quite vague nothing really happening there. Have been a long time investor in Iluka and they have done me well over time - but as a layman my personal understanding of the future is more uncertain than it has been before, although they are making lots of dough and cash at present to keep things going for now.
The end of the $10/share and divvies era approaching? Balranald is going to be urgently required to keep this going on the road perhaps.
