I would say that some PPT holders would be doing this, some holders with small parcels would not bother.
The PPT 35C special dividend is not at all special or extra to the normal, very deceiving that announcement, it is just that they are paying the September quarter to bring the payment date in line with PDL.
Also PPT shareholders would now mostly be underwater on their purchases and this also may be a deterrent to selling.
