One of quite a few things MYR does very well is enthusiastically keep its site current.
On Christmas Day, its little elves have been busy altering the display on the website.
It doesn't use the words 'Boxing Day Sale' but rather 'Stocktake Sale'.
The site is colourful with a great feature how claimed discounts vary across the different subsections of MYR stores.
This to my mind helps keep interest levels up, and reflects how some stocked areas are higher margin, or subject to more competition. But I'm not a retailer or marketer.
Consumer downturn and inventory problems from the mainland Chinese situation above or not in 2023, as a former SH, one receives the impression MYR is focused and giving most aspects of its business its best shot to entice consumers in.
SH are deserving of what may be a quite reasonable result for the six months ending on 31 January 2023.
