Stick with it. I reckon you should put both AKE and PLS in the bottom drawer proverbially.
Then start reading and researching. You will find that your $4.50 buy will be a good investment, but you need a bit of patience and look a bit further ahead in my opinion. You are not unlucky and many would have bought at $4.50 in my opinion. I would have bought if I had the cash.
