What they're saying is to look at a different timeframes and use a monthly chart.
They didn't engage any of the points in my post (shape of moving averages or position relative to each other), they just flat out rejected it with a "No". However the burden of proof lives with the person making the claim, but they haven't done that yet.
Trying to see their perspective, I've looked at a monthly chart and yes it looks does look like it's risen over the past 3 years.
I'd just point back to the SP being below the 200EMA which is regarded as a long term moving average, and then observe that the 200EMA is pretty flat, it's not sloping upward. It doesn't look like it's in an uptrend to me?
Hope this extra explanation helpsand hey, it's just my view at the end of the day.
