RIP Mondrian’s ‘deep value’ department.
From memory their average started out around $11.65/sh (they went substantial literally days before the Macquarie downgrade), and then they doubled down bringing their average to 10.68/sh at 7.3% holding. They later got as high as 9.4% in late June 2022 so I assume they got the average cost price to somewhere around $9.00/sh.
Quite amazing they’ve waited until now to sell it at a ~$2.50 handle, they had invested over $100M of client funds into this thing. I wonder if someone has lost their job over this. Shocker.
