" in both companies " - you're a glutton for punishment. As I said previously, I bailed PNR above 30c, in part because I had doubts about the TUL's passive 50% ownership of Norseman, and also doubts about the PGE potential (which Petra's analyst values) being actualised in the foreseeable future. So, god's luck for 2023 - I'll keep PNR on my watch list as a prospect, and a reminder of the value of "stop loss".
When PNR didn't hold its 32c high in Jan'22, an aggressive trader would have exit when the 30c support, was broken, or 25c at worse.
The big volume spike in September was traders selling to "value hunters" .... who are now down 50% ... love hurts.
I should have traded my love stock (RED5) a lot more, but hopefully 2023 will give me one more chance to exit on a high and keep the bride happy.
A friendly merger with a cashed up entity, or one with a good credit rating might be good for PNR, but while the TUL tail wags the PNR dog will anything eventuate ? One must assume TUL are not complete fools, so their dogged retention of their stake in Norseman implies great potential?
