I am new to HC and have really enjoyed the opportunity to learn from some very experience traders. Leroy36 I agree with everything you have said, yet also find it frustrating that threads deteriorate into personal attacks (from all quarters).
I have watched the Day Traders thread and have gained a great deal of knowledge...and when someone disagrees with an opinion they don't act like five year olds, taking cheap shots, expecting apologies etc... from my limited experience they treat each other with respect.
Use the threads to discuss shares etc... and when someone makes a statement that you feel the need to slip into "road range mode" ...take the positive action of placing them on your ignore list!
While I am doing my own research, part of that research is reading well constructed, thought out points of discussion.
Keep the discussions on topic so we can all learn from each other!
