Now women join the workforce and the state tends the young and elderly. The women are in the workforce to pay off their 4x2 home, electronics, 2 cars and international holidays. Previous generations didn't have these luxuries but did have families.

Right, so young people should get married and live with their parents, or in-laws, have children and continue to live with said parents until they are old and can look after them.
