I don't see this extension as positive I see it as Catl keeping a finger in the pie for whoever it is that ends up with the mine.
it's delusional to think a huge Chinese company are continuing to extend due to some loyalty to AVZ. they only care about getting the product and at the right price

They extend because the ‘huge chinese company’ requires a huge amount of high quality lithium that I cant see any other single lithium mine in the world being able to deliver.
