Could be setting the deal with Tesla on the % of tones they felt confident in delivering this year and left the rest to go to spot market.
Tesla will definitely need more than 50,000 tones of spod to produce 30,000 tones of hydroxide, where will the balance come from?
The only consistent message from both companies is that this arrangement will end in 2025.
