I do know from reading the ODAC notes that SI has commented on the potency assays MSB have used historically - and whilst he didn't say that he hadn't used INF-alpha - I know that he hadn't to that stage from what he did say.
.... really ? Sounds like a bold statement .... perhaps he didn't tell ODAC (or you) everything "he has done / tried" - time was limited in the ODAC meeting after all ... too funny - I know what he has done by what he didn't say
