my gut agrees (at this point in time) but it's actually quite difficult to assess if it's done and dusted, as it depends on 3 factors as I understand it:
1- neu average MC over three months
2 - average MC of other stocks already within the asx 200, specificity how much they have dropped and when they dropped
3- average MC of stocks that were within asx300 previously, that have also seen growth ( stocks that just missed out in the previous 200 rebalancing )
with respect to your question... yes more funds will get involved, the volume should increase significantly.
