If I could just add one point that there are very few deposits that sit around 1m ounces on a mining lease within 25km from a mill. Each day the gold prices edges towards $2000 the directors of NST will be wondering how they can increase capacity quickly without major capex. NXM ticks all the boxes ( my estimate is a mre of around 800koz but room to grow).
Size is obviously crucial but proximity and mining lease will give NXM a premium to the rest of the deals been done at equivalent gold resources.
Like many I was a bit disheartened with last year, decent results was met with continued selling pressure. Part of me believes Andy missed a trick by raising capital so late, the market knew they were come raise and we are where we are because of the discounted cap raie imo. But things do turn on a dime and like we have seen in lithium stocks , once the commodity becomes flavour of the month/year stocks in the sector are met with relentless buying. Lets hope 2023 is the year for gold !!!
