@Happ have asked for my post to be removed as I reacted rather than responded. Wasn't in a good head space and took it out on you which shouldn't be how I roll but am human and ego is hard to suppress in those times when you are emotional.
Do try to be balanced so I don't become a total fan boy. Not good when you invest. Tesla is a perfect example. At $413 it was priced to absolute fan boy perfection. When it started to fall they were all buy more, buy more. I charted it to go to $108 using Elliot wave but a deep recession could see it around $50. There is a lesson right there and why I do not advocate going all in on anything. And I love that company.
You are 100% correct and WBT could do as you say. Being the monthly was more looking at the probability given known progress on the commercialisation front. But this is the share market and it is a crazy time right now. Anything could happen and having been through a few of these rationality goes out the window. As a slow moving indicator it gives a good idea of the sentiment and growing confidence which we all are looking for to continue.
So yes a pullback could take us into the $2.65 region even though it might appear unlikely atm.
Unfortunately in recessions valuations affect all assets as the excesses are washed away. If WBT keeps moving forward and starts getting the recognition it and ReRam deserves we may all be spared the worst outcomes that await many investors.
