Plough.
I think it's just 1 more milestone to reach re Corus but don't quote me.
I missed the presentation last Thursday but should find out more on Monday.
Don't forget that the success of the DYE coated steel is not only that it works efficiently and is cost effective (which apparently it is), but also that it can be manufactured economically and in bulk - in other words, spit out stacks of it on a roll-form basis quickly etc on a production line.
The way it was briefly told to me 'on the run' by a person who was at the meeting, is that a test run of the DYE coated steel was rolled out around Xmas, set up and 'switched on' - the result was explained to me as being 'all high fives and champagne'.
So i understand the next and last milestone is to manufacture, set up and test a bigger demonstration - i assume either a building or some kind of large array of DYE coated steel ? - couple of months i think is the timeline but not sure.
An announcement re that will be the demo / marketing catalyst for full blown production in 2011 if all goes well - but don't quote me on this - i haven't checked out this in any detail as yet.
And then there's the glass with Pilkington, the solar car 'pull down' shade panel etc etc....
Why wouldn't everyone want to own a piece of this cutting-edge company ? I just can't see any downside except for some other better solar technology suddenly coming out of the woodwork that can be coated on steel and merged into see through glass.
