Pinto, It seems we agree that our present military is up as an adjunct to the US , and we cannot rely on the US. It also has pushed us into place we shouldn't have been. So , what exactly does , think security not defence , actually mean in specific terms? I see a defence force focused on deterring an invasion of Australia , with limited force projection . So eventually a defence based on mobile missile, air and submarine forces with adequate electronic surveillance to take on seaborne invasion. Adequate air defences to maintain at least a break even at the coast. Army , a rapid response force to try and disrupt any beach head , and be available for natural disasters in Australia and in our region Hence my agreement with the recent buy , as that fits with that philosophy. So , over to you , some flesh on the bones please.
