We can safely assume that price isn't accurate. A cheap "standard" device is around $60-$100 AUD. A better quality device is around $200-300. A medical grade "professional" monitor is around $1000. Logic says ours will be around $200 I'm guessing. Around 4 x cost price would be reasonable. I recall a SphygmoCor device being around $4000 per unit. Therefore the idea is to get the tech into homes and the everyday family budge. $200 is 5% of that, representing great value. I'll definitely be buying a couple to test out!! Bring on market open tomorrow to see if word is getting out.
