the Newcastle port is the largest coal port in the world. Hence the newc price. It will all depend on the quality of coal they are after. We have the best, so if they looking for efficiency and reduced emissions ours is the go.
I could be wrong, but believe most coal suppliers are under contracts with surplus sold at spot. Happy to be corrected on this.
