And so it would seem your view on the spenda wallet is not positive, even tho you may be correct that other companies offer wallets.

Smart business find what is popular and get involved, perhaps refine it. Still at the very least if a company chooses to you Spenda software, by having the wallet that company would now not need to pay for a separate service, further making the slew of products the spenda ecosystem offers. It's the same way that made Apple ecosystem so popular.
