theyre profiting off this inflation wave rn, since its the manufacturer that wears the cost, (% wise), but i see pressure from the public to help 'lower end prices' resulting in only hurting woolies profit. (low dividend year incoming)
i personally think the home delivery will continue to get refined and more efficient than the current to where itll be the complete norm beyond what it is now to not step foot into a brick an mortar, not sure if theyd reduce their real estate foot print due to the rise of home delivery.
regardless to say, woolies is not going anywhere. its a staple to the australian life at this stage, i dont see them going under the $30.00 threshold unless another company dethrones them via innovation or they come out with disastrous news/figures in the coming year
