@CoinTom - "chapeau" - are you French? I heard this from my French friend - or has it become a Pan-European 'trope' like the Italian 'Ciao'.?
I am a fairly casual 'investor' now - but got carried away with this stock, seeing the already existing mine is in Austria, in an area I have had a wonderful holiday in as a small child and later visiting my former hosts, one of the sons becoming a Kärnten-known musician, can't mention his name here, but he sent me half a dozen CDs with folk music played by him and his musicians, he is a Harmonica virtuoso.
However, I realised pretty soon that there will be formidable opposition to overcome, because of the geography - beauty of the area and likely effect on the tourism of the area, but also difficulty in transporting the material - mentions of buying parts of or all of an entire Abbey, mentions of a special cable car construction for the transport of the material - then the fact that a new mining entrance will have to be made, negotiations with one landowner called 'Glock' etc. etc. and then the promise of a credit from a Swiss bank, which never became reality made me insecure enough to sell at a loss. I only had a small investment of a couple of thousands, so I can still buy 'champagne' (to stay within the French theme
)
And Austria is not a third world country where mining companies ride roughshod over local authorities or bribe their way into doing all the damage they want to do - Austria is highly regulated and now derives a lot of tourist income from the beauty of its land. So those permits will not be easy to get -
pro argument: with all the lithium now imported into Europe, there is big motivation to get the stuff locally!
and also: curiouser things have happened in the share market, especially the American one . . . .
and it would be fabulous to be able to mine Lithium in the middle of Europe, in my former native and still much loved country, Austria -
