Warren is one of the few distinguished aboriginals who speak sensibly on this issue. The voice will not lift aboriginals out of their social malaise or reduce the disproportionate crime rates of young aboriginals. More likely it will discriminate and divide Australians when we keep getting told we are one! If over the last 230 years an answer to this particular problem has not been arrived at then why trust that anything will change now?
