I’m not sure you can say markets are manipulated .What I would say is that trading strategies are designed to play on the psychological behaviour of investors .The pros use this to assist in their strategy .Net buys and sells assist in determining market participants behaviour . Both on positive and negative share price movements
a pending cap raise is another storey with those -players positioning to get set at a lower price while the company wants a higher share price to reduce dilution
