I use a bunch of tools to track stocks and one thing I noticed is that the Guy Perkins, formerly COO of Nearmap, appears to no longer be with the company. Whilst http://www.ipernica.com/IRM/content/nearmap_team.html previously had Stuart, Simon and Perkins, it now lists a new bizdev, CFO and 3 new sales staff .
That might explain the 1.5m sell order that appeared last week. In the 2009 Annual Report Perkins reportedly held 1.1m shares. Strangely enough that order is no longer on the market, yet I don't believe it actually sold on market as the reported volumes aren't that large. I guess whoever it was withdrew or found some other way to sell off-market.
