In fact it's just possible that management are letting a potential JV partner have their geologists or an independent specialist go though the assay, methodology and reserve/resource definition method now aka due diligence be fore they go from a formal JV.
I've never been sure of how these things are done ( probably variably) and necessarily in secret. I have of course fielded several T/O offers and usually am too busy saying Whoopee!, to get to terms with the methodology. Also it's not quite the same.
All IMVHO.
