Missed opportunity costs can never be quantified...that is the unfortunate fact of investing...

I know someone who didn't buy Sandfire at less than 15c and instead put in that money into AAR...the AAR sp has stagnated at almost 2.5c or therabouts...so he hasn't made any loss on his investment per se....but SFR has multiplied by almost 30 in that duration....so its all a part of the game....

I just did a straight calculation stating that your loss are always mathematically limited to 100%, if you want to add the cost of implied losses due to loss of opportunity, I am not the one who is splitting hairs here mate....
