Well something is going on here, heres the latest price history for PGY:

Not the usual TA, but coming from another TA approach that some might get something out of, heres a look at the price data from the last 6 months and 12 months of PGY






So on the right hand side you can see the stats from the last 6 months of data vs the last 12 months, stats like average daily volume, daily value traded, daily movement, the number of positive days, negative days, VWAP (price most of the volume trades at), date most volume occured, etc.

Highlighted cells in the volume column occur when volume is over the average.

Can see the real volume spike for PGY occured on 30th of Dec, then the biggest with 58 mill shares traded yesterday on the 9th. TEGs big jump was before this , their jump in vol occured 20th of Dec to 23rd. You would think if the volume was to do with the JV that the big jumps in volume would have occured at the same time, as insiders would know they are onto something and buy both stocks.

It also pays to mention that TEG have CPS capital involvement, CPS is a Perth based investment firm headed by Jason Peterson with a history of holding stocks that get pumped and dumped, that probably has more to do with the uptick and volume than any other fundamentals.

Its an intersting story to watch unfold right now, definitely opportunities in these stocks with this volume, but need to know the characters behind it all before putting serious coin in long term.
