I came across this interview with Paul from 2018. I think it is good viewing to put a bit more perspective into the letter and where the company currently sits. It is on the biotech sector in general.

Those that want a guaranteed return or a quick profit are probably buying into the wrong sector.
I also get the feeling that Viralytics may have sold for more if they weren’t so cash strapped.
I think the IMU team are doing a good job to balance all aspects and definitely have the experience to pull this off.
