Liontown for example on top of the State Government royalty pay a 2% private royalty as well as a royalty (% undisclosed) to the local aboriginal community.

At 500kt selling for US$6000/t, and guessing that royalty is around 2%, that works out to $60m USD or A$90m every year
We won't be spending anything like that in Africa - a very good deal compared to the royalty you'd have to pay to local communities in Aust.
