I have updated my lithium resource spreadsheet with the details of the updated MRE from Lake today. I have left the 2018 MRE in there for comparison purposes. Total Mineral Resources have increased by 900kt LCE with a small drop in grade. Measured & Indicated Resources have increased significantly (more than doubled) from 1Mt to 2.18Mt LCE with a reasonably significant (30%) drop in grade.
Lake used a cutoff of 0mg/l for both MREs "given the consistent grade of the deposit" and because "the future economic cut-off for brine extraction is has not been confirmed from process testing and economic studies". Galan's MRE also applied a 0mg/l cutoff but their rationale was because "minimum values are above expected economic values (620 mg/L)" - i.e. its all economic.
