Interesting that no mention was made of Montney, despite previous indications of a Montney winter 2022/23 drilling program.

In addition, we have the strong share price trading of late despite the depressed oil price, management explicitly stating they were in discussions with a number of potential JV partners and Peters and Co recently moving Calima's Montney assets to 'post-bid'.

It could be nothing, or it could indicate at deal isn't far away. It does feel like it won't take too long, with the Canadian LNG Coastal GasLink project now over 80% complete and the world looking for non-Russian gas. I note the Japanese PM is in Canada tomorrow to talk about LNG supply, amongst other things!
