Despite City2surf providing some good analysis and being quite bullish , there are a few concerns , the biggest of which in my opinion is FIRB. Given the existing politics and the self recognition inside FIRB to grow a pair, they just might feel that this is the time to keep ORG in Australian hands . It is also possible for Brookfield to start getting a bit concerned at the Govts direction on carbon pricing and more generally on Australia becoming a riskier place to do business and being run by a crowd that have never had a real job. In a sea of green today , ORG is my only stock in the red at this point. There have clearly been some big sellers . I think the risk of the takeover not proceeding is around 50-60%.
