To be fair ASX only scan the announcements quickly for certain things, to ensure they get announced on time, and its especially difficult when the company lodges within 30 minutes of open as the ASX will do their best to get it released on time. ASX make it clear that they don't read all the detail and that the responsibility for that falls back on the company. That's fair in my book.
To help things along the ASX have guidelines in terms of having a relevant title/headline for the announcement.
In this case the title/headline, to me, looked like an actual DFS until I read the content of course. The same thing probably occurred to ASX when they had time to read it properly.
