Stop-loss positions really only have a home in derivative trades where the downside can magnify beyond your initial exposure. As an example if you have unlimited downside with futures then you can well be cooked if the market heads south in a hurry hence you have a corresponding put in place, a stop-loss.
What seems to happen with the punters in punter-land is that a stop-loss is placed at whatever they are comfortable with and this in effect creates a sell volume that is sitting off screen. A bot will hunt this by drip feeding until someone plays ball and at that point the selling will increase which triggers the stop loss positions which then in turn accelerates the volume of other people as they automatically are sellers which then feeds the snowball racing down the hill to the larger waiting buy level of the pleasant person who has turned on that bot. Happens ALL the time.

those circled transactions are just punters buying or selling at market, the bot is looking for that sort of activity, there isn't enough volume though..

Right so the bot is waiting for someone to wipe a level and hopefully trigger stoploss the next level down. Makes sense thanks
