The idiots who dreamed up the Sun Cable project don't even know what the diameter of the cable will be, The depths in the sea goes as deep at 2kms and it ain't flat, its up and down over sea mountains.
What happens to the cost when the price of copper goes to US$11/lb as suggested by Goldman Sachs?
No way would Singapore want to be dependent on the sun shining in Australia, at best Singapore would only want a small amount of power requirements to come via an unreliable source in Australia.
Now the price of the Sun Cable has already gone up by 50% over the last 3 years from $20 billion to $30 billion.
Obviously the halfwit blackout Bowen thinks its a great idea. To me that means total failure.
