Tomboy, the lithium battery theory of global storage of electricity is a myth. Discovering lithium I’ve read is one thing. Developing and mining is a whole new ball game. Mining in Australia the largest source of undeveloped lithium I understand will take years of bureaucratic hurdles. Queensland like victoria 100% is anti-mining so none to be developed there. IGO is the leader and streets ahead of them all globally and expanding its supply chain with new resources. Mining of lithium I read, must increase by 2,500% to reach the goals the Greenies require. 100,000 tonnes of lithium which is globally totalProduced in 2022 will supply 10% of NewYork storage batteries alone required for NYvhigh rise. There are 6,000 high-rise buildings in NY with 274 of them over 150 stories. Some have 20 lifts, let alone massive air con supplies. So lithium will be required to increase 10 times 900% and only store enough lithium for battery storage for just NewYofk high rise. New York is 70% powered by hydro from Canada and nuclear. NYC uses 50.5Terrawatt hours of power per year. 1 x terrawatt = 1,000 Gigawatts or 1,000,000 megawatts or 1,000,000,000 (one billion) kilowatt1 . So can you imagine the batteries required to store 55 million kilo-watts? We willmake money by investing in lithium and NickelWhilst the greenies are trying. There is 12-14kg of lithium just for a car battery imagine how much for a 100-story office block. If the world wants batteries for storage lithium quality battery grade will be more expensive than gold ( joking but not far short) ATM is stuck in a sh#t gold stockTrying to get out and buy more IGO.
