it could be argued that they were still sold a lemon by the person sitting on our board. Whether their arm was twisted or not, the asset was probably not what it was represented to be. The only reason that Newcrest didn’t make a bigger fuss was it was embarrassing to be taken for fools….
My point is that no takeover potential premium can be expected from the current management structure. This project will have to be developed in house because of the questionable reputation of the leadership
