Korbel - 0.76 strip for first 3 years, 1.97 strip for first 15 years.
Fort Knox - 1.2 strip for life of mine.
I'd say Fort Knox's is better. Though there could be a quirk in there where a lot of Korbel's inferred resource is treated as overburden in the SS, so further drilling (upgrading it to indicated) could change that from overburden to ore, improving the ratio. Thus with improving the mining costs, and potentially allowing for a lower cut-off.
Somebody could ask management - "in regards to the strip ratio in the SS, is a significant portion of the inferred resource treated as overburden as opposed to ore".
Or we can just wait for SS2, and hopefully see more indicated resources, along with an improved strip ratio (which would confirm my above assumption).
