Agree the short level is still climbing ?? , is this to shake out retail holders by bringing the price lower so shorters make a profit .
Recently joined Interactive brokers and they have a function to lend shares out. If you are long the stock is there any downside lending your shares out for a fee.
OurStock Yield Enhancement Programallows you to lend your fully-paid stock shares to Interactive Brokers in exchange for cash collateral; IB will lend the borrowed shares to traders who want to sell them short and are willing to pay a fee to borrow them. Each day that your stock is on loan, you will be paid a loan fee based on market rates.
