Frankly, this obsession with 'high strength concrete' is totally misguided and shows that after all these yrs some posters still just do not get it.
Nobody is using EdenCrete to increase compressive strength only. It would be a waste of money and hence why it is a straw man argument that seems to make sense on the surface but actually totally misses the point.
The reason why EDE includes the compressive strength for every project is not because that is the main attribute desired but because it Must be measured and of course they would publish such excellent results. The information is vital to engineers designing mixes and has it's place.
It is the COMBINED CUMULATIVE effect that EdenCrete's various attributes confer that make it worth it's price and there is no other product on the market that comes anywhere close.
Take the bridge decking for example.
It's a hot day. The mix travels 45mins to get to the site and a non-EdenCrete mix has become unworkable. They add water. Allowable but not optimal. 1 up for the improved rheology of the Edencrete mix.
The improved workability makes the job go faster. 2 up for EdenCrete.
The reduced plastic shrinkage of the EdenCrete mix minimises microcracks from the very beginning. 3 up.
The CNT bridge any microcracks that are a ubiquitous factor in concrete, slowing down the process. 4 up.
The 41% increase in flexural strength protects against further cracking as cars and trucks travel over it. 5 up.
Winter comes. Freeze/thaw cycles begin. EdenCrete's decreased permeability comes into play. 6 up.
Less scaling from the deicer chemicals due to the increased nucleation points on the CNTs creating a denser concrete. 7 up.
When the cracks finally come, the increased abrasion resistance will protect the concrete from any pieces being ground into the concrete by tyre pressure. 8 up.
Many many yrs after reference projects have had to be be replaced, the 50% increased chlorine resistance has finally been penetrated and the beginnings of corrosion on the rebar has started. EdenCrete's split tensile strength increase, combined with the other attributes, slows damage from this eventuality as well. 9 up.
This is why EdenCrete is a revolutionary product. No mixture of other products combined can give this kind of durability over so many aspects. No wonder it has taken yrs of field testing for customers to start believing it is even possible. And now we have EdenCrete Pz/7 that actually makes similar improvements AND decreases costs WHILST increasing sustainability goals.
Blah blah blah will go the FUDsters. Who cares? Proven products, increasing market penetration, growing sales. Timing is everything in investing. The new 'happy crowd' of investors luckily picking now to invest in EDE are coming whilst the SP plays catch-up to the rest of us long timers.
